Seville:
Travelling in Andalusia

Print information

Andalusia is Spain’s southernmost and second largest ‘Autonomous Community’, with Seville as its capital. Its rich artistic, cultural and geographical heritage makes it a first class tourist destination.

Kilometres of immaculate beaches, mountain ranges, national parks, and winter resorts await you.

Direct Budget Airline Connections to Seville and Andalusia

Seville is directly connected to major European budget airline routes. This means that you can fly between Seville and places like London, Paris, Berlin, and Milan for extremely low prices. Sometimes as low as 10 euros before taxes!

Make the most of your stay and experience the region's key attractions first-hand. These visits are not included in the course fees but are reasonably priced. In any case, we'll provide you with detailed information if you prefer to make your own travel arrangements.

Some of the trips recently organized include:

1. Granada, a two-hour drive from Seville, with highlights such as the world-famous Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada winter resort, a ski-lovers' paradise.

2. Cordoba, just 30 minutes from Seville on the AVE high-speed train, was the capital of the Caliphate during the period of Arab domination of the Iberian Peninsula.

3. Costa de la Luz, an hour's drive from Seville, boasts impressive white sandy beaches.

4. Jerez de la Frontera, capital of the famous Sherry-producing region and headquarters of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art.

5. Coto de Doñana National Park, located at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, Europe's most important protected ecosystem.

Everything you imagine Spain to be can be found in Andalusia, more so than in the other regions of Spain.

This is due to the strong Andalusian tendency toward maintaining traditional culture. As the capital of Andalusia,

Seville has so much to offer visitors: from amazing architecture and historical sites to brilliant sunshine, vibrant nightlife, and a one-of-a-kind social atmosphere that is friendly, celebratory, and safe.
A Short Step from Africa

Amazing and awesome, the continent of Africa begins just south of Andalusia where the mythical country of Morocco lies just a few kilometres away from Europe.

It is both easy and cheap to drop in on cities like Casablanca and Tangier from Seville, both legendary with travellers. Please check on your visa status for a visit to Morocco.
