| Discover Conil, The Jewel of
Andalusia, Spain |
If this is the first
time you have heard of Conil, rest assured you are about to
discover the jewel of Spain's Atlantic coast.
Conil is a charming fishing village surrounded by lush,
green pine woods, on the Costa de la Luz, just 150
kms south of Seville. The old part of the town keeps all the
charm of a typical Andalusian village with narrow streets, white-washed
houses and patios with plants and flowers.
At night, Conil transforms from a true Spanish
fishing village into one of liveliest towns on the coast with
bars, restaurants, and spots that fill up with people night
after night, making it a hub of activity.
The coastline offers a huge variety of small secluded coves,
cliffs, and long expanses of fine, white, sandy beaches. The
quality of beaches in this area has no rival in Spain. |

| Study Spanish at the Beach in
Conil |
Our partner school is located in the town
centre, just a few minutes walk from the beach and occupies
a spacious building with a library, Internet facilities, dance
studio, kitchen and a barbecue in the patio, all on the same
premises. There is also a rooftop terrace for students living
on-site at the school with fantastic views of the beach and
the Moroccan coast across the Straits of Gibraltar.
Linc offers you the chance to head straight to the beach for
a relaxing and wonderful Spanish course on the Atlantic coast.
The Conil courses that we offer from April through mid-November
are Intensive and Intensive plus:
Intensive
This is the general Spanish course which we recommend for everyone
who does not need to take Spanish for a specific training purpose.
Intensive Spanish courses consist of four 50-minute classes
per morning with a maximum of 10 students per group.
The class focus is on communication, listening, vocabulary,
and important grammar. This course is available to all levels.
On the first day of your Spanish course you will have a free
level test that will allow us to put you in the right class.
Students with no previous knowledge of the Spanish language
will be automatically placed in the beginners group.
Intensive Plus
This is a general Spanish course for those people who
want more exposure to the Spanish language during their course.
Intensive Plus Spanish consists of four 50-minute classes in
the morning and two 50-minute classes in the afternoon per day
with a maximum of 10 students per group.
If there is only one or two students per level in the afternoon
classes, these may be substituted by five 60-min classes per
week. This course is available at all levels. Your level is
determined via a free level test, which you take on your first
day. Students with no prior knowledge of Spanish will be placed
in the beginners’ group.
DELE
The D.E.L.E (Diplomas de Español como Lengua
Extranjera) is an official qualification recognized all over
the world, and supervised by the 'Instituto Cervantes'. It shows
the students grade of competency and command of the language.
There are three grades of DELE available: Beginners, Intermediate
and Superior. The preparatory courses are available before the
exams, in May and November and consist of the Standard course
plus another two hours of class daily in mini groups.
Inscription
The D.E.L.E examinations are held at centers specifically designated
by the Instituto Cervantes. The examination
centers closest to us are at the Universities in Cadiz and Seville.
We help our students with the official paperwork. The time limit
for inscription is usually a month before the exams.
Duration: 2 or 4 weeks
Classes: 20 + 10 hours /week
Levels: Intermediate / Advanced / Proficiency
Max. students/class: 2 - 3 students (at extra classes)
Timetable: 9,00 - 15,00
Spanish for Business
These courses include the Standard course (4 hours class per
day) plus two hour more in `minigroups´, covering specific
vocabulary, simple business situations and paperwork, combined
with reading business press and articles. It is valid preparation
for the 'Certificado de Negocios´ granted by the Spanish
Chamber of Commerce and recognized worldwide. "Certificado
Básico y Superior de Español de Los Negocios".
Duration: Minimum 2 weeks
Classes: 20 + 10 hours / week
Levels: Intermediate and Advanced
Max. students/class: 2 - 3 students (at extra classes)

| Cultural Activities |
 
The Spanish-learning experience continues out of the
classroom when teachers accompany students on the cultural
activities organized by the school, such as barbecues, "tapas"
outings, cooking and gastronomic classes, cycling and trekking
routes, Spanish film evenings, music workshops, etc.
Visits are also programmed to close cities like Cadiz, founded
in 2000 BC and the oldest existing city in Europe, Jerez (Sherry),
well known for its wines, the “Ruta de los pueblos blancos”
the typically whitewashed villages, the Grazalema National
Reserve and Tarifa, the windsurfing capital of Europe. Morocco
is a mere two hours journey from Conil.
Apart from the possibilities offered by the school, Conil
and the surrounding area are the ideal place to practice all
sorts of outdoor activities: Beach sports, horse riding, tennis,
etc.. the list is endless. |

| Accommodation in Conil |
We know accommodation is a very important
part of your Spanish experience. Therefore a great deal of care
and consideration is taken in choosing appropriate accommodation
for our students in both Seville and Conil. For this reason
we give you personalised attention to ensure a trouble-free
stay. We offer two main types of accommodation, both of which
meet our strict quality standards. Premises are inspected regularly
and each student fills in a quality-control survey after their
stay.
Family Accommodation
An ideal setting for practising the language and experiencing
the Spanish culture in a deeper way. This option offers you
an individual room and half board, consisting of breakfast and
one meal (lunch or dinner). It also includes laundry and change
of bed linen once a week. You can also have full pension (3
meals a day) for a supplement. For family accommodation prices

Shared Apartments
If you prefer more independence, the best option is to have
your own room in a shared apartment. You share common areas
such as kitchen, living room and bathroom and help with the
cleaning. The apartments are simple, but fully equipped.
